🧠🏀Lebron James doesn’t have a bag?

đź’ĽLebron hates when people say they have a bag

Hello, writing from Istanbul, Türkiye. We are in the age of the game where you get the switch and watch that player go to work..well at least in the NBA. When Luka gets the switch he brings his “bag” of tools out to manipulate the defense. Find out what Lebron thinks about having a bag later in the playbook 💼

Q&A âť“

Im only 5’2 in the ninth grade, should I give up?

Have you ever heard the saying heart over height..well that has some truth to it. If your starting point physically isn’t where you want it to be who cares…what does your mental game look like. The game is way more mentally important than it is physically. With that being said, being shorter does come with some cons but also their are pros.

No matter if you are 5’2 or 7 feet tall there are pros and cons to both heights in basketball. The key for you is to maximize what you are good at and work on the things you aren’t good at.

One: Being able to shoot will increase your chances of succeeding because the defense has to come out closer to guard you allowing you to use your speed to get by them. If you can’t shoot then why would they come out on you?

Two: Ball handling, you should have the ball on a string in order to use your speed. You can be as fast as you want but you can only move as fast as the ball will so if you can’t handle that will take away one of your advantages.

Three: Strength, you must work on your body in the weight room in order to make sure you aren’t a liability on defense. If they post you up and you make them shoot over you then thats a win, but they can’t just bury you for a lay up.

Remember all the things I mentioned are in your control and can be put into a system to consistently get better over time.

Basketball Tip 🏀

Many players hesitate to seek help from those more skilled, fearing it implies inferiority. I've been there myself, reluctant to admit I needed assistance. But now, I see it differently: recognizing others' strengths as opportunities for growth. Embracing this mindset accelerates improvement, integrating their wisdom into daily practice.

I receive messages seeking advice on various aspects of the game, which I'm eager to provide. However, my guidance is limited from a distance. Rest assured, someone at your practice excels in what you aim to master. Swallow your pride and approach them for guidance. It's a humble exchange, mutually benefiting both parties. Time in this game is fleeting; seize every opportunity to learn and elevate your skills.
